Passive antenna multicouplers for rack mounting
A well-established line of Ro.Ma. enginery products supplied throughout many years to military and civil agencies and currently operating in many
radiocommunication installations in Italy and abroad. The fundamental function of a multicoupler is to allow the most efficient use of the available
antennas, by connecting more radio receivers to the same antenna or establishing the antennas-receivers configuration best suited to the operational requirements. As an additional advantage, the multicoupler gives opportunities to simplify the
configuration of the receiving system through reduction of the RF cabling, with positive results at both technical and cost-saving levels.
The design of the Ro.Ma multicouplers is continuously upgraded and new versions of standard equipment are developed to incorporate new technologies and new components.
Passive
antenna multicoupler MR-0102 An
8-output passive Rx multicoupler covering the VLF-MF-HF (10kHz to 32MHz) frequency band. Incorporating new-generation magnetic materials which allow wideband operation with a low-ripple insertion loss ripple less than 1dB and a VSWR ≤1.5:1 , the
multiplexing capabilities can be extended to 16 outputs by addition of a power divider and a circuit card.
